As a touchscreen specialist, faytech combines the development, design, manufacturing and marketing of touchscreen monitors and touchscreen PCs. Arne Weber, the founding manager of faytech, started to develop and market electronic devices in 2001. Later in 2006, the today called faytech AG started to import touchscreen displays in Germany. 1. faytech offers better picture quality due to less reflections. Compared to air bonding, optical bonding reduces light refraction by up to 65%. This enhance the perceived brightness of the LCDs by up to 10%. The display is insusceptible to condensation and dust particles and creates a solid connection between the touch and LCD.

2. The faytech technology offers better performance than acrylic solutions, as silicone glue cures more evenly. During curing, adhesive shrinkage in acrylic solutions is up to 4%, while for silicone glue it is only 0.1%. This results in significantly lower residual stress. Better control over the hardness is another advantage. Furthermore, acrylic will yellow over time due to ultraviolet radiation, but silicone glue does not yellow

Application examples

It is called the Taxi PC, which is exclusively produced for tipp2GO, and has a GPIO to connect with e.g. taximeter, seat contact and reversing camera, an 8~36V DC-IN with capacitor to bypass short power losses and many more connectors. It uses faytech’s 7” Optically bonded touch display with many added features such as 3G, GPS and AIO-cable.

 

Exclusively produced for Ergo-fit, faytech developed a capacitive 10.1” Touch PC with IP65-front, integrated RFID and card-readers, numerous connections for the users as well as for communication with the fitness equipment. The industrial Touch PCs are a perfect fit for the Ergo-fit's complete program of fitness training systems.

 

Operating a sea container forklift is a challenging task. Not only does the operator have to secure the proper lifting of the container, but he also needs information about which container must be moved where. Mounted in the forklift’s cabin, faytech’s touchscreen PC allows efficient communication with the storage HQ through a wireless connection. It allows efficient and most current data tracking, logging, and usage by both the operator and HQ.

 

The Drink Command’s self-pouring beer system uses faytech’s 15” Tuch Monitors. The device is IP65 proof, which makes it completely water-, dust- and beer-proof. It has an integrated RFID reader and card-scanner, as well as many other connectors to communicate with the complete system. It is very user-friendly, which makes it the perfect solution for this application.
